For the past five years, Sorin's family has been trying their luck in the mythical contemporary El Dorado that France represents for its economic migrants from Eastern Europe. The family of seven lived in a 15 m2 caravan on the pavement of a street in the southern Parisian suburb of Ivry-sur-Seine. The children were in school and a lot of work and housing was underway, thanks to the efforts of committed volunteers.
Following the mass evictions in the summer of 2015, this family and many others returned to their village in Romania. The children, Marius, Izabela and Alexandru, are rediscovering their native region, rebuilding their ruined house and exploring the hilly countryside of northern Walachia, far from the urban life they grew up in.

The children, Marius, Izabela and Alexandru, are rediscovering their native region, rebuilding their ruined house and exploring the hilly countryside of northern Walachia, far from the urban life they grew up in.

Après 5 ans en France la famille retourne vivre en Roumanie, 2015.
Ces cinq dernières années, la famille de Sorin a tenté sa chance dans ce mythe de l'Eldorado contemporain que représente la France pour ses émigrés économiques de l'Europe de l'est.
La famille a vécu à sept dans une caravane de 15 m2 sur le trottoir d'une rue de la banlieue parisienne sud à Ivry-sur-Seine. Les enfants étaient scolarisés et un grand nombre de démarches pour trouver un travail et un logement étaient en cours, grâce aux démarches entrepris par des bénévoles engagés.
Suite aux expulsions massives de cet été 2015, cette famille et bien d'autres sont reparties vivre dans leur village en Roumanie. Les enfants, Marius, Izabela et Alexandru, redécouvrent leur région natale, entre reconstruction de leur maison en ruine et exploration de cette campagne vallonnée du nord du Walachia, loin du quotidien urbain dans lequel ils ont grandi.
