In 2018, Alexandru, Marius and Izabela return to Ivry with their parents. Alexandru is married, his wife is expecting a child. Izabela is also getting married. They decide to settle in a Roma camp, established in a former factory opening onto a huge wasteland. The cohabitation is difficult, the family is not part of this Roma community, they do not have the same traditions and do not speak Romani. In this factory, which is due to be demolished, with only gaping holes in the windows to let in the cold and rain, the families have each built a small hut. They found members of their family, cousins, uncles and aunts. This project "Towards adulthood" begins with a series of portraits of the family and their reunion on this wasteland promised to the construction of the Zac Ivry Confluences - Development of a participative housing project. This urban project, which followed all the evictions from the Ivry-sur-Seine camp, marks the end of an expatriate life in Ivry. The Romanian families will move further away from the Parisian capital, to Evry or Courcouronnes.

En 2018, Alexandru, Marius et Izabela reviennent à Ivry avec leurs parents. Alexandru est marié, sa femme attend un enfant. Izabela va se marier elle aussi. Ils décident de s’installer dans un campement de Roms, établi dans une ancienne usine ouvrant sur un immense terrain vague. La cohabitation est difficile, la famille ne fait pas partie de cette communauté Roms, elle n’a pas les mêmes traditions et ne parle pas le Romani. Dans cette usine promis à la démolition, dont il ne reste des fenêtres que des trous béants laissant entrer le froid et la pluie, les familles ont bâti chacune une petite cabane. Ils ont retrouvé sur place des membres de leur famille, cousins, oncles et tantes. Ce projet «Vers l’âge adulte» débute par une série de portraits de la famille et des retrouvailles sur ce terrain vague promis à la construction de la Zac Ivry Confluences - Développement d'un projet d'habitat participatif. Ce projet urbain, qui a suivi toutes les expulsions de campement d'Ivry-sur-Seine, marque la fin d'une vie d'expatrié à Ivry. Les familles roumaines vont aller s'installer plus loin de la capitale Parisienne, pour se retrouver vers Evry ou Courcouronnes.
