Pour une alliance entre photographie et sciences sociales est un ouvrage collectif présentant des expériences contemporaines issues d’un rapprochement fructueux entre ces deux disciplines. Projet réalisé à l’occasion de la formation « Réaliser un projet photographique avec l'apport des sciences sociales » accompagnée par&nbsp;Jean-Robert DANTOU,&nbsp;Thibaut MENOUX, Mathias NOUEL et Florence WEBER, dans le cadre du programme éducationnel de l'AgenceVU’. Pendant un an, huit photographes (Julie Balagué, Cédric Calandraud, Martin Flori, William Gaye, Elsa Laurent, Rose Lecat, Anne Leroy et Ivan Mathie) ont développé des travaux photographiques avec des méthodologies issues des sciences sociales au sein d’un atelier conçu par le photographe Jean-Robert Dantou&nbsp;avec&nbsp;Mathias Nouelde l’Agence VU’ et les sociologues Florence Weber&nbsp;et Thibaut Menoux. Cet ouvrage restitue le résultat de ces recherches à travers les portfolios de chaque participant·e, augmentés d’une série de documents offrant des apports théoriques et des outils pratiques à l’usage d’une réflexivité dans l’enquête photographique. Des entretiens avec l’équipe encadrante permettent de revenir sur la genèse de cette expérience, et ses principes. Leur création s’inspire librement d’œuvres choisies dans la Collection départementale d'art contemporain : des créations qui tissent des liens entre image, mémoire et lieux. L’exposition Des images sur les murs&nbsp;présente côte à côte les œuvres de la Collection qui ont inspiré les élèves et nourri leur réflexion, ainsi que leur réalisation. La maquette conçue par les élèves propose une exploration sensible et singulière de la Cité de la Muette. Construite dans les années 1930, la cité est d’abord la promesse d’un habitat social innovant. Elle devient camp d’internement et de transit durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, et retrouve sa fonction initiale en accueillant de nouveaux locataires à partir de 1949. Archives, plans, cadastres, dessins, photographies sont réunis par l’impression au cyanotype et apposés sur la maquette comme autant d’images qui collent à la peau, ici aux murs, d’un lieu chargé de mémoires. Avec les œuvres de Kader Attia, Shimon Attie, Gianni Burattoni, Gunther Groenewege, Christian Lapie, Laurent Pernot, Michel Séméniako. Le programme Œuvres en Résidence&nbsp;se déroule dans le cadre des parcours Culture et Art au collège portés par le Département de la Seine-Saint-Denis et l'association Citoyenneté Jeunesse. - 2019 In this perilous journey to reach France, exiles from Africa and the Middle East who have survived the sea and the desert, find themselves facing the mountains of the Alps, natural border between France and Italy, guarded days and nights by the French police. Europe's national borders open with the Schengen agreements, have closed for the exiles who move in the European Union following the agreement "Dublin" and the security policy.Every day, every night, men, women, children, isolated minors, try this crossing of the mountains, whatever the season, the risks or the police controls; they want to arrive in France and ask for asylum. From April 2018 to August 2019, I photographed these people, recorded their testimony, in order to share their story and to humanize what the policy calls "a migration crisis". the situation of unaccompanied minors on French territory. It questions the present and the future of these young people and the paradoxes linked to their rights or non-rights. By going to meet the foreign unaccompanied minors taken in charge by the State, as well as those in appeal to prove their minority, the photographs of their daily life question the youth, the identity and the culture, the time, the traumas, the experience of the places and the right of the exiles. Through the use of diffractions and digital filters, the pictorial images form a spectrum of light normally invisible to the eye.&nbsp; In 2014, the Human Rights Defender, seized by 15 associations, judged the practices of the system for unaccompanied foreign minors to be Infra-Right. In France, the system of care for minors is riddled with paradoxes and grey areas, disturbing their integration. These unaccompanied minors are entitled to the protection of France until the age of 18, when they can apply for naturalisation or asylum. But if they have been entrusted to the ASE after their 16th birthday, they may be expelled from school and lose the protection of the Republic, being sent back to their country of origin. Young people on a CAP who do not obtain a Contrat Jeune Majeur lose their jobs and end up on the streets. And while 55% of those assessed are not considered minors at the end of the application process, there is no law requiring them to be housed during their appeal, unlike asylum seekers. Infra-droit2020 - 2022 Le projet «Infra-droit» explore la situation des mineurs isolés sur le territoire français. Il interroge le présent et le devenir de ces jeunes et les paradoxes liés à leurs droits ou non-droits. En allant à la rencontre des mineurs isolés étrangers pris en charge par l’État, ainsi que ceux en recours pour prouver leur minorité, les photographies de leur quotidien questionnent la jeunesse, l’identité et la culture, le temps, les traumatismes, l’expérience des lieux, du territoire et du droit des exilés. À travers des jeux de diffractions et de filtres numériques, le corpus d’images colorisées forme un spectre lumineux infrarouge ou ultraviolet invisible à l’œil nu. Le Défenseur des droits,saisi par 15 associations, juge en 2014 les pratiques du dispositif des mineurs étrangers isolés d’Infra-droit. Bara hostel in Montreuil, undocumented workers who had not been rehoused opened a self-managed squat on Rue Stalingrad in 2019. They have been fighting for years for regularization and their right to decent housing. In September 2018, the Bara hostel, which housed workers primarily from Mali, located in Bas-Montreuil, was closed due to unsanitary conditions following the implementation of an emergency order. Mayor Patrice Bessac then requisitioned the empty building belonging to the AFPA (National Agency for Adult Vocational Training), a state-owned property, to house migrant workers. However, this building is slated to become the new National Administrative Court and the Asylum Court in 2024. In October 2019, 80 residents of the former Bara hostel, housed in the former AFPA headquarters in Montreuil, were rehoused in new premises furnished by Coallia on Rue Brulefer in Haut-Montreuil. Meanwhile, 200 people who had not been included in the rehousing agreement remained homeless after the eviction from their second hostel on October 29, 2019. They camped for three days on the sidewalk before moving into a former warehouse on Rue Stalingrad. These 200 men of all ages live in a large dormitory with nearly 100 bunk beds crammed into the middle of the warehouse, with only a few rooms, often without windows. They suffer from power outages, cold water, and only six toilets and showers. The roof leaks. To repair the roof, the windows are boarded up, leaving no natural light. In 2020, 250 people were living in this hangar and feared ending up on the street again. In this self-managed squat, between communal living and personal aspirations, people are trying to build a future for themselves. Work is essential; every year they declare their income, even if they have to use someone else's documents. On July 28, 2020, another eviction from the warehouse was announced. Les ex-Bara Seine-Saint-Denis - Montreuil 2019 - 2020 Après la fermeture du foyer Bara à Montreuil, les&nbsp;travailleurs sans-papiers n’ayant pas bénéficiés d’un relogement ont ouvert un squat autogéré rue Stalingrad en 2019. Ils se battent depuis des années pour leurs régularisations et leur droit à un logement digne.&nbsp; En septembre 2018, le foyer Bara qui loge des travailleurs, originaires majoritairement du Mali, situé dans le Bas-Montreuil, est fermé pour insalubrité suite à la mise en œuvre d’un arrêté d’extrême urgence. Le Maire Patrice Bessac réquisitionne alors le bâtiment vide de l'Afpa (Agence nationale pour la formation professionnelle des adultes), propriété de l’Etat, pour loger les travailleurs migrants. Mais ce bâtiment doit devenir le nouveau Tribunal national administratif et la cour du droit d’asile en 2024. En octobre 2019, 80 résidents de l’ex-foyer Bara installés dans cet ancien siège de l’Afpa à Montreuil sont relogés dans de nouveaux locaux aménagés par Coallia, rue Brulefer dans le Haut-Montreuil, tandis que 200 personnes n’ayant pas été prises en charge dans le protocole de relogement, restent à la rue lors de l’expulsion de leur deuxième foyer le 29 octobre 2019. Ils campent 3 jours sur le trottoir avant de s’installer dans un ancien entrepôt rue Stalingrad. Ces 200 hommes de tout âge vivent dans un grand dortoir où s'entassent près de 100 lits superposés au milieu du hangar, avec seulement quelques chambres souvent sans fenêtre. Coupures d’électricité, eau froide, 6 toilettes et douches, la pluie perce la toiture. Pour rafistoler le toit, les fenêtres sont condamnées, il n’y a plus de lumière naturelle. En 2020, 250 personnes vivent dans ce hangar et craignent de se retrouver à la rue, encore. Dans ce squat autogéré, entre vie en communauté et espoirs personnels, les gens tentent de se construire un futur. Le travail est un élément essentiel, chaque année ils déclarent leurs revenus même s'ils doivent travailler avec les papiers d'une autre personne.
